To buy or not to buy
I’ve got the itch to trade Morris in. This is an ever growing list of the why and why not’s: WHY New technology is cool Safety features are cool Economics are favorable No major repairs for 3 years/36K miles I deserve nice things WHY NOT I really love my Morris It is still a safe and reliable vehicle I’m lazy and don’t want to have to re-tweak my new ride I’ve gotten over the “HATE EVERY BLEMISH” feeling I don’t live in my ride, and I should be spending that money elsewhere Edit: So I went for a test drive. I still have the itch but not as much. Over…

Happy ANNIVERSARY
Today is the 52nd anniversary of my parents wedding. It is also the day I attended my Great-Aunt Katharine’s funeral. Quite the mix for a day. When you die at 96, you have mostly outlived your immediate family, and friends. She has one sister and one brother that could not make the trip. Her son, Kenny, is handling things as well as can be.

Da Bats!
So I also have this origami thing going on. Keeps me busy during the down time. In reality there is no downtime, but I make room for origami anyway. It was “origami hour” with me and Michelle at my old place of employment. Somedays you just had to drop everything and spend time folding paper. My remote co-worker comes back to Denver once a month. I always send him home with little presents for his kids. This week they got to come with Dad. I had to oblige with what I know. Origami, and BATS! They don’t fly very well, so today… Well I’ll update with pictures soon

Turn the lights OFF!
So the bat drama is over… Two nights of wondering is over. Freaking out is over. I turned the lights off in my kitchen, left the lamp on by my couch, it was getting dark outside, and the screen door was closed. Within 30 min, while sitting on the floor (‘cause i didn’t want my back to the kitchen) out rushes the flying rat. It bounces off the screen and flutters back to the kitchen. I slam the lid to my laptop, grab the towel that I had been carrying around for two days, and again, nearly knocking the screen door from it’s tracks slam it open. A few round…
