    Yet again with the format

I know, right? I think this will do me well for a while. When I do this, I migrate -most- of the site… some of it is just too crazy to reformat. I have to clean up and standardize some fonts, make sure links are working, and make sure some new features are pointing correctly. The Blue Tab in the lower right? Go ahead, click it. I tried the multi links to each blog entry, hated it. So much to do. If you are a first time visitor or just returning to see what’s up, stick around, stay awhile. I hope you don’t get lost as I figure out some…

    Work at home today

I have a guy here replacing/fixing my master bedroom ceiling. It leaked (for the 4th time) back in January. Ugh.. Yes, it’s been that long. It’s been a busy year for me. Work has kept me from doing the things I have wanted to do around my place. It’s not that they keep me there chained to my desk… I really desire to do and learn everything about my work that I can. Sometimes, that requires me to give up some time. I do it cause I can, and because I want to. Plus, I feel less guilty about doing the “what i want to do at work” on my…

    iFROGZ

There is some good in the world. My 6 month old iPod case broke. It just broke. Didn’t drop it, or yank the power cord out… nothing, it just broke. I got it online at Barns and Noble. But they don’t cary them any more. So i emailed the manufacturer, and all they wanted was pics of the broken item. I now have a brand new iPod Touch 4 Luxe Original by iFrogz. I’m glad this company stood behind it’s lifetime warranty. All is good in the world.

    Lion

Woke up this morning to a fresh install of OSX Lion. Initial thoughts: Nice. My track pad now scrolls bass-upside down. I’ll get used to it. More to come… Friday, 8ish pm: They did away with Front Row. It was a media browser where you could watch your movies, listen to music, and play your photo slide shows. Good on your Ralph Perdomo. Good on you. http://www.mac-hatter.com/blog/frontrowenablerforlion Photo Note:

    Paisley

More picture email…  My brother-in-law Jim was walking his two dogs last night, Argyle and Paisley, two Scottish Terriers.  Argyle, the black one, and Paisley, the blond wheaton one. Some crazy owners left their dog in a back yard, with a non functioning latch on the gate.  Fucked-up-tard owners. The injuries you see are the results.  Paisley had surgery to make sure that no internal organ damage occurred in the mauling.  Thankfully there wasn’t.  Jim? 23ish puncture wounds about his hands and arms, knees and elbows filled with road rash, and a tetanus shot to end his day.  Argyle came out okay.  My sister tells me he stood quietly by. …

    Fireworks

Some fireworks from last year at Lake Estes – Estes Park, Colorado. Spent the day with Liz, her mom, Mike and Charlie. We got rained on and it was really cold. It was a last minute deal and were not expecting it to be 45 degrees… we were all shivering something fierce. The thing I love most about fireworks is the sound. If I am not right there where the boom matches the flash, well, it’s just not as much fun. My camera does not record sound, so I had to pick a tune for the video. Hope you enjoy.

    Time

I just put up on a separate page an original play from a friend. John was one of the first people I met when I moved back to Denver. He lived upstairs from me, and we developed a good friendship. I took care of his cat when he was out of town, and he took care of mine. He was a professor, and a playwright. He told me that I was the nexus of Time Enough to Listen. Not sure about that, but perhaps he did put a bit of Scott in there. He moved away, we kept in touch. A few years ago, John died after a long battle…
