Turn the lights OFF!
So the bat drama is over… Two nights of wondering is over. Freaking out is over. I turned the lights off in my kitchen, left the lamp on by my couch, it was getting dark outside, and the screen door was closed. Within 30 min, while sitting on the floor (‘cause i didn’t want my back to the kitchen) out rushes the flying rat. It bounces off the screen and flutters back to the kitchen. I sit and write this at my local coffee shop… a mere 4ish blocks away. I arrived home from work, scouted my condo, grabbed my MacBook, and walked here. Why? you ask? Left Turn
In the last two weeks I think I have encountered two transplants from Pennsylvania, at the same intersection. Both proceeded to turn left in front of oncoming traffic (ME) as soon as the light turned green. I tend to speed up when this happens. It’s fun to watch the clueless passenger’s eyes get really big. But I feel guilty that I freaked them out so much. When ever I encounter a bad driver, I have to force myself to think of my 94 year old Gram driving. Yes, she drove until she was 94. Yet again with the format
I know, right? I think this will do me well for a while. When I do this, I migrate -most- of the site… some of it is just too crazy to reformat. I have to clean up and standardize some fonts, make sure links are working, and make sure some new features are pointing correctly. The Blue Tab in the lower right? Go ahead, click it. Work at home today
I have a guy here replacing/fixing my master bedroom ceiling. It leaked (for the 4th time) back in January. Ugh.. Yes, it’s been that long. It’s been a busy year for me.
