I sit. Pondering…
A cold curb leaks through my jeans
No money for bus.

dreams wait till i close my eyes
then the birds awake

My eyes wide open
An illusion in my mind
Where perfection lives

Blue is beautiful
Frames the world all around me
Let me see your smile

A tear on the cheek
Tomorrow, rise with the sun
Moment missed, for now

Bongo drums for you
In my head so loudly beats
Cheating my burned ears

Oh the days before
Never just sitting and lost
Winks from your gaze

Dreams out of reach
Discarded. Stumbling. Worn
The journey is long

If you cannot see
Dry your tears, open your eyes
Rainbows never fail

Not the boy I once was
But still scared sometimes
Change just for change

Beauty undefined
