Work at home today

I have a guy here replacing/fixing my master bedroom ceiling. It leaked (for the 4th time) back in January. Ugh.. Yes, it’s been that long. It’s been a busy year for me. Work has kept me from doing the things I have wanted to do around my place. It’s not that they keep me there chained to my desk… I really desire to do and learn everything about my work that I can. Sometimes, that requires me to give up some time. I do it cause I can, and because I want to. Plus, I feel less guilty about doing the “what i want to do at work” on my own “non official work time” time. If that makes sense.

The leak is another story. My HOA did replace the roof above my unit a few years ago. All better after the third leak. Well so they thought. It was a half-assed giant patch job. The entire roof had been due for replacement but they pushed it off yet for another year. Big hint folks: when the experts tell you your roof will need to be replaced in the next 2 years, don’t wait 5 to actually do it.

Today will be about playing around with my new web site host, watching the fixit guy fix, and doing some much needed house keeping.
