Mudge boy, Line man, and UGH

A few weeks ago, I gave up my old Microsoft Surface for a new Microsoft Surface Laptop.  It was working fine, but reasons… needed new and shiny, just wanted to, and just wanted it.  So I just did it.  With that came all the other things, my pen from Bamboo was OKAY, but wasn’t perfect…  had to get the Slim Pen 2. It really works quite well.

I like to play artist but have not been motivated much of the pandemic crazy time. Forcing myself back in cause it clears the mind. Today I needed it.  Head crud the last two days (not covid) has kept me at home. Have I mentioned I dislike WFH? With a passion. I am just as productive but the separation of work/home I need.  I’ll spend 12 hours in the office if needed, but the moment I walk out the door, enough! Done.  No more worky for me. And anyway….  Got news my Mom has Covid.

Shit, fuck, damn. Fully vaccinated, boosted, and even had Covid last last Christmas.  She barely had the sniffles then. Now we just wait and see. Will it bring anything to an 84 year old?  I hope not, other than an extra box of Klenex at the bedside. I can’t even tell you how I really feel. It’s not as scary the second time around. We know more, well because vaccines work.  “Yeah Science, Bitch!’ ~Jessie Pinkman

So what’s all this about, I honestly don’t know. But I spent the morning getting to know my new Surface. Mindless doodling is therapeutic. I like it and have the faintest of talent to bring out it’s best. But I scribble, and if you like it? Great. I made you smile. If not, cool. Many things make life interesting. Someday, I might post my process of how I create things. Some start on paper. These were 100% done on my Surface. #NoTalentHack
